As Spoiler, the only female Robin, and the third Batgirl, Steph is a ray of sunshine in the gloomy angst that is the Bat-family, even in the face of hardship and doubt. Steph has been shoved aside with many other heroines in the DCNU, even after a highly successful run as Batgirl. But, like Steph, we fans find a way to laugh, sing Lady Gaga, and hope. Notes Aliens and Teacups: Possible delusional opinion?Okay, so, this is regarding Stephanie Brown. The Spoiler, the fourth Robin, and currently Batgirl.
So far, a majority of the pictures I’ve seen of her have been of her in the Batgirl costume, in comic book and not and I’m not sure if it’s just my perspective, or a black costume with purple stripes down the sides helps, but…
She makes me feel so good about my body. Like, no joke. I know it’s like all… Fighting fit and crap, but she doesn’t look perfect or anything and that just… Yeah. I look at her, and I look at myself, and suddenly I don’t feel so self-conscious about the way I look. I find it weird, but eh. Usually looking at drawn characters, anime/manga/comic book whathaveyou, I get so self conscious because they’re drawn so perfectly, but, damn. Stephanie. Whatisthis.
I love it.
And will now possibly surround myself with Batgirl!Steph pictures to constantly feel good.AMEN.
